Deer Island or Menjangan Island
One of the lesser know facts about Menjangan Island is that it is also Deer Island. And though we don’t always see them the deer swim from the mainland to graze on Menjangan Island. So there you have it. Bambi is quiet a swimmer.
Popular Menjangan Island snorkeling spot
At the back of Menjangan Island is Pos 3 a popular spot for snorkeling and the nearest access point to the main Temple at Menjangan Island. Next to the jetty at Pos 3 heading to the West is the Coral Gardens. Shallow water, beautiful corals, loads of fish. What more do you need.
